Ather Rizta crosses 1 lakh unit sales within a year of launch

, the Rizta, has crossed the

1 lakh unit sales

mark within a year of its launch. Unveiled in April 2024 and made available for purchase from June 2024, the Rizta has received an overwhelming response from family buyers across India, becoming a key growth driver for the company.

Rizta- the flagship product of AtherThe Rizta now accounts for around 60 per cent of Ather’s total sales, underscoring its popularity in the competitive family scooter segment.

Ravneet Phokela, Chief Business Officer at Ather Energy, said “Hitting the 1 lakh milestone with the Rizta is a big moment for us. It’s helped us expand our reach, connect with a broader customer base, and significantly grow our market share.”

Expanding Reach Across IndiaFollowing the scale-up of deliveries in Q2 FY25, Ather has seen a significant rise in market share across key states like Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh. The success of the Rizta has also helped Ather become the #1 electric two-wheeler brand in South India during Q4 FY25, as per VAHAN data.

Ather’s Growing Product PortfolioThe Rizta marks Ather’s strategic expansion into a broader consumer segment beyond performance-focused riders, complementing its existing 450 series. The strong retail response reflects India’s growing acceptance of EVs for family and everyday commuting needs.
