Stellantis India has appointed

Kumar Priyesh

as Business Head and Director – Automotive Brands. In his new role, Priyesh will lead the operations of

Jeep

,

Citroën

, and

Leapmotor

in India.

Prior to this appointment, Priyesh served as Brand Director at Jeep India from January 2024 to April 2025, where he held P&L responsibility and oversaw functions including sales, marketing, retail finance, network and product development, and customer satisfaction.

Before joining Jeep, Priyesh worked with Volkswagen India for over a decade in multiple leadership roles. As National Sales Head from December 2020 to May 2023, he led the company’s growth from 15,000 units in FY21 to 45,000 units in FY23. He also contributed to the launch of new models and implemented digital and electric mobility strategies. In earlier roles, he led network development, corporate sales, and used car operations, helping improve dealer profitability and customer satisfaction.

His earlier career includes leadership positions at Tata Motors, Hyundai Motor India, Maruti Suzuki India, and Eicher Tractors, spanning over two decades in various regional and national roles.

Priyesh announced the move on LinkedIn, stating that he is “happy to share” his new position leading Stellantis’ automotive brands in India.
