MG Motor India

has announced that the MG

Windsor electric vehicle

has crossed the 27,000-unit sales mark, less than a year after its launch. The company said the model has shown steady demand across the country and continues to lead the electric vehicle segment.

According to the company, the recently launched Windsor EV PRO, equipped with a larger battery and additional safety and technology features, received 8,000 bookings within the first 24 hours of launch in May 2025.

Wider reach beyond metros
JSW MG Motor India noted that nearly 48 per cent of total Windsor sales have come from non-metro markets, indicating broader adoption of electric vehicles beyond urban centres.

The company also stated that the MG Windsor has received over 30 awards since launch, including the Green Car Award 2025 by iCOTY.

Marketed as India’s first intelligent CUV, the Windsor is offered with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) pricing model, starting at ₹9.99 lakh with a usage charge of ₹3.9 per kilometre. The vehicle delivers 100 kW of power and 200 Nm of torque.

The Windsor comes with a 15.6-inch central display and seats that recline up to 135 degrees. MG said these features aim to provide an enhanced in-cabin experience for users.
