The e-ACCESS was first unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and marks Suzuki's formal entry into the electric scooter segment in India.

According to the company, the e-ACCESS is intended to serve as a long-term mobility solution for urban commuters. It is equipped with Suzuki’s proprietary e-Technology, featuring a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery. The battery is designed to offer thermal stability and extended service life. The scooter includes Regenerative Braking, a maintenance-free belt drive, and multiple riding modes through the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector-e (SDMS-e), including Eco, Ride A, Ride B, and Reverse Mode.

The battery and components undergo rigorous testing, including submersion, temperature extremes, drops, vibrations, motor bench, puncture and crush tests, the company said in a media release.

The e-ACCESS has been designed to provide steady performance at varying speeds, including during low battery levels. This is aimed at ensuring consistent ride quality and control in different urban scenarios, the company added.

To facilitate electric vehicle adoption, Suzuki Motorcycle India is working with its dealership network to make outlets EV-ready. This includes training personnel and setting up dedicated infrastructure for servicing electric two-wheelers.
