automotive components, has inaugurated its new greenfield manufacturing facility for four-wheeler alloy wheels in Kharkhoda, Haryana.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), alongside senior executives from MSIL and Uno Minda. Their presence highlighted the longstanding and strategic partnership between the two companies.
The new facility is expected to play a pivotal role in catering to the rising demand for premium alloy wheels from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in India. It also underscores Uno Minda’s efforts to contribute to the government's “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives by enhancing local production capabilities.
Uno Minda, formerly Minda Industries Limited, is part of the NK Minda Group and serves a wide array of vehicle segments including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles and more.
