India Yamaha Motor (IYM) has announced a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) scheme for its customers across the country. Launched as part of the company’s 40-year presence in India, the scheme aims to provide consistent on-road support.
The extended RSA scheme is priced at ₹975 for five years and offers continuous support nationwide. It includes towing services in the event of a breakdown or accident, battery jumpstart assistance, flat tyre support, running repairs for minor issues, and medical support during emergencies.
According to Yamaha, this initiative complements its recently introduced 10-year ‘Total Warranty’ programme, which includes a standard 2-year warranty and an 8-year extended warranty. The company stated that these offerings are part of its efforts to enhance the ownership experience and provide support throughout a customer’s journey.
“For Yamaha customers, it’s not just about performance and style—it’s about trust, assurance, and lifelong value,” the company said in a media release.
