has launched its much-anticipated
CarensClavis-- a new three-row vehicle designed for modern families equipped with multiple powertrains. The automaker claims the model is designed to bridge the gap between MPVs and SUVs.
The new model, which will be available alongside the standard Carens, features Ice Cube MFR LED Headlamps with LED DRLs, and Starmap LED Connected Taillamps. It will be available in eight colour options– ivory silver gloss, pewter olive, imperial blue, glacier white pearl, gravity grey, sparkling silver, aurora black pearl and clear white.

FeaturesNew powertrain options introduced include the Smartstream G1.5 Petrol and Smartstream G1.5 Turbo-GDi petrol engines, as well as the D1.5 diesel.
It is equipped with the ADAS Level 2 technology, and offers 20 autonomous features, including Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop and Go, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Front Collison-Avoidance Assist- Direct Oncoming, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Blind View Monitor in Cluster, Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist and host of other autonomous safety features.
It also offers six-speed manual, six-speed torque converter automatic, iMT, and seven-speed DCT gearboxes. Customers can choose from seven variants, namely HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX, and HTX+.
