, has announced a rebranding strategy with the introduction of Youdha. This shift represents a strategic move to transition from Lohia Auto’s focus on the premium electric vehicle (EV) segment to a broader, mass-market approach with Youdha.

For over 16 years, Lohia Auto has established itself in India’s EV market, producing over 100,000 vehicles annually and operating a network of over 120 dealerships. The company has been active in promoting affordable electric mobility solutions for both businesses and individuals.

The rebranding to Youdha signals the company's expansion into the mass-market EV space, targeting a wider audience. The name "Youdha", derived from the Sanskrit term for “warrior,” is meant to reflect the qualities of strength, resilience, and determination associated with EV users in India.

Repositioning
Ayush Lohia, director of ZAPL, explained that the rebranding marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to grow India’s electric mobility sector. He stated, "Lohia Auto has always been about innovation. With Youdha, we aim to reach a wider audience. Our goal is to build a brand that supports people striving for a better future."

New logo

The Youdha logo, designed to reflect the brand’s core values, features a warrior’s shield symbolising protection and determination. It also incorporates the outline of an electric charging socket, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility. The design evokes the shape of a three-wheeler, connecting the brand to its product roots.
